Russell Street

Lockeland Springs
East Nashville
Built in 1920

The heroes of this project, a couple with two young children, a dog, and a cat, came to us ready to make some big changes.  They wanted their entry and adjacent living room to live up to the grand architecture of their historical home, and they were feeling stumped by the furniture layout in two asymmetrical spaces.  We honed in on the couple’s color preferences and sense of personal style, and, together, the clients and I built a cozy, functional family space. The room quickly became everyone’s favorite place to relax, read a book, and pet a cat on a winter evening. I’m honestly pretty jealous.
