We’re paid to design,
not to sell you things.
Our pricing model makes our luxury, low-waste spaces possible. You pay one flat design fee for your room, and you get every piece we source for you at cost.
One sofa, two invoices
Most studios furnish your room at retail, then add 20% to every line of your invoice. That model rewards your designer for selling you more things, newer things, and more expensive things. Here’s what a sofa looks like on their invoice and on ours.

There’s a good chance your total is smaller.
What matters is the total: your design fee plus everything that goes into the room. Between preloved prices and zero markup, it’s usually less than the same room built the traditional way. The savings are a happy side effect, not the point. We’d design secondhand first at any price.

The design fee is set per room type, and it covers everything we do: the design, the sourcing, the pickups, the install, and the styling. The furnishings budget varies with how much you need and what you pick out. Add up your rooms to ballpark the whole project.

Estimated furnishing totals include standard contract work: painters, movers, handyman, seamstress, wallpaper installer. Custom carpentry (think built-in library walls) and new floors are scoped and quoted separately.
Bathrooms
Bathrooms are coming.
We’ve been testing secondhand first on full bathroom renovations, starting with returning clients. Bathrooms for new clients are coming soon, and when they’re ready, the pricing will be published right here, same as every other room.
