Tea Towel Collection

Our sweet clients are a young professional couple (plus one new puppy) in their very first home. They live in a new build but love old things, and their living room was feeling generic and incomplete. They asked us to transform it into a collected space with real mood, personality, and their favorite colors, pulled straight from their wedding photos.

We started with their existing (giant!) rug and beautiful green sofa and quickly settled on the idea of framing their tea towel collection to build a focal point behind the sofa. We layered in vintage tables, secondhand lighting, pillows, and accessories and arrived at a final space that’s truly theirs.

The puppy personally tested every one of the new pillows, and we consider that a five-star review.

The white fireplace and built-ins with olive-backed shelves, a gilt mirror over the mantle, red taper candles, and a striped blue pouf
The green velvet sofa beside an oak credenza with a red-shaded lamp, stacked books, and hung textile rugs, with a glass coffee table in the foreground
The entry with the front door and trim painted a deep maroon, a taupe ceiling, built-in bookshelves, and an antique glass-front cabinet on a Persian runner
