Highland Heights
East Nashville
Built in 1936

The clients wanted “practical jungalow” vibes for the historical home they share with their two greyhounds and their houseplant collection.  They had the classic East Nashville cottage problem: one small front room that was built before TV that needs to have the TV.  We got to work sourcing and rearranging furniture and worked out a solution that provides a sense of entry, a place for conversation, and a cozy spot to watch their favorite shows.  We were thrilled when the clients decided to add their adjacent dining room midway through the project, and we were very happy to create a dramatic view into the space complete with a gorgeous preloved light, an unusual arrangement of original and vintage art, and, of course, a big plant.
